PURPOSE:To obtain a titled ink ribbon wherein a metallic salt of lanolin fatty acid is used as a component of an ink layer, a printing density is high, and sharpness and ground smearing resistance are excellent. CONSTITUTION:The metallic salt of the lanolin fatty acid is used as the essential component of the ink layer, which includes a resin that is applied to a film base and an oil which has poor compatibility with the resin. It is desirable that the viscosity of the oil if 10,000cps or less at 25 deg.C. As for the resin, copolymer of vinyl chloride and vinyl acetate, polycarbonate, polyvinyl butyral, and the like are used. A bonding layer can be provided on the film base as required. |
