PURPOSE:To prevent the dedendum crack of a toothed belt and promote the transmitting efficiency of high load by using a high rigidity and elasticity rubber component with 70-90 degrees rigidity of JIS-A for the tooth part of the belt and its backside. CONSTITUTION:To obtain a high rigidity and elasticity rubber component with 70-90 rigidity (JIS-A) after molding and vulcanizing, 5-50 weight parts high- crystal unsaturated plastic polymer are added and mixed in 100 weight parts rubber. This rubber component is used for a backside 1 and a tooth part 3 of a toothed belt. Natural fibers with 10-1,000 aspect ratio (length/diameter) or 2-30 weight parts short synthetic fibers can be also mixed into rubber. |
