PURPOSE:To fix an axial position of a crankshaft with simple construction, by fitting a positioning member to a guide groove formed to a crankshaft peripheral surface and fixing said positioning member to a fixed part of a crank case. CONSTITUTION:A circumferentially faced peripheral groove 3 is formed in the outside of one journal part 2 in a crankshaft 1, and externally directed bosses 7 are protrusively provided at two positions with a prescribed distance from a hole 6 in the outside face of a crank case 5. Then both ends of a thrust plate 8 equipped with a semicircular shaped stopper edge 9 engaged throughout a range about a half of the groove 3 of the crankshaft 1 are removably mounted to the both bosses 7 by stud bolts 10. |
