Prodn. of new derivs. of N-benzoyl N,N-di-n-propyl D,L-isoglutamine of formula (I) (n1 and n2 are 2 or 3, and in which the two tert. amino gps. may be as salts of a pharmaceutical acid). Prepn. comprises reaction of 5-methoxy 2-methyl indolyl acetic acid with a N-hydroxyalkyl N-chloro-alkyl piperazine, reaction of the prod. with p-chlorobenzoyl chloride and further reaction with N-benzoyl N,N-di-n-propyl D,L-isoglutamine. The prods. have anti-inflammatory and anti-rheumatic activity.
