Method for analog/digital conversion and for digital/analog conversion

Before an A/D conversion, elaborate analog filter arrangements can be omitted if during the A/D conversion a sampling frequency is used which is significantly higher than the frequency required with respect to the sampling theorem. A simple series filter and a digital filter can be used after the A/D conversion. Similar measures can be taken in the D/A conversion.
