For the electronic scanning of photochemically created images by means of an optoelectronic transducer device and for the subsequent video evaluation of the picture element signals generated for each frame, the developed photochemical images (3, 4, 5, 6 and so forth) provided in a manner of windows on an image carrier (1) are optoelectronically scanned line by line in a central evaluating device, converted into electronic picture element signals and recorded or stored as video signals on an information carrier (7) which is assembled with the image carrier of the photochemical images before or after the recording to form a commercial unit. <IMAGE>
