<p>The method is used to fit an addressed envelope or wrapper to a glued or riveted printed article such as a catalogue etc. The wrapper or envelope (2) is fixed (4) to the article (1) at the same time as this is glued or riveted, and has a protruding flap (3) which is folded over and glued or otherwise fixed to its other end. Before this last operation is performed however, the flap can be folded back clear of the knife trimming the free edges of the article sheets (5). The envelope or wrapper can have a perforation etc to allow easy opening, and it can form the cover of the article.</p> |
