<p>The racing bicycle detachable luggage rack, a supporting base with two supports whose free ends are secured near the bottom end of the upright rear frame fork, while at the forward end of the base is a fixing device securing it near the top end of the fork. The supports (4) hinge on the base (1), and have detachable clamps (5) at their free ends engaging with the fork (6). The fixing device also has a detachable clamp, typically fitting round a rear reflector on the fork. The base can be continuous, forming a splash guard, and can also have upright edges and a hinged lid, the whole being aerodynamically shaped and with a reflector on the outside rear wall.</p> |
