The invention is aimed at a device as an assistance-calling indicator light (light for calling for help) for producing an emergency signal when a switching-off action by the user is no longer effected. Such a device is distinguished by a circuit which produces an assistance signal periodically and by a switching-off circuit which can be triggered externally to erase (extinguish, delete) the preparation circuit. <IMAGE>
