Detritus conveyors are used in underground mining and tunnelling, in particular in the area of the conveyor belt transfer points, in order to receive and feed to the outgoing conveyor belt the conveyed-material particles, released from cleaning devices, as well as the collected and deposited dust. To this end, the flights running in a profile trough are designed to be hinged and in such a way that they can be locked in one conveying direction in the perpendicular and are connected to one another via a linkage which is acted upon on one side by a lifting cylinder. The linkage is guided on the lifting cylinder in an elongated hole so that the linkage is displaced by a certain amount during every reciprocating movement and as a result pivots the flights before they are moved in the longitudinal direction of the profile trough. <IMAGE>
