PURPOSE:To prevent damage to contacting rollers with a higher washing efficiency by arranging a plurality of nozzles in several groups so that a washing liquid will be injected alternately and intermittently by each nozzle group. CONSTITUTION:In the washing, an access roller 8 is brought into contact with an oscillation roller 7 to separate it from a reservoir roller 3 while shifting the positions of ink rollers 16-18 to separate a plate surface 6 from an ink device 1. At the start time t0 of washing, these rollers are rotated for the time T3 at one washing cycle. A valve X1 for injecting a washing liquid 19 from a group of nozzles 20a and 20b is turned ON only for the time T1 to allow the washing liquid 19 to be injected against a half of rollers 7 and 11. Then, when the time t1 passes after the turning OFF of the valve X1, another valve X2 is operated only for the time T1 and the washing liquid 19 is injected from another group of nozzles 20c and 20d to wash the remaining half of the rollers. After the time t5 elapses, both the valves X1 and X2 are turned ON to make the washing liquid 19 injecting from all the nozzles 20a-20d. The waste liquid 25 is recovered with a doctor blade 23 contacting a roller 4. |
