In a roller blind for windows, doors and the like, of which the roller-blind bars forming the roller-blind reinforcement are guided during their movement in guides which are provided laterally on the window frame or door frame and which extend as far as a run-in slot of a roller-blind box receiving the wound-up roller blind, according to the invention there is a sealing of the roller-blind reinforcement in the run-in slot at least in relation to the roller-blind skirt of the roller-blind box and preferably additionally also between the roller-blind reinforcement and window frame, this sealing being effective at least when the roller blind is closed or almost closed and, if appropriate, furthermore preferably also when the roller blind is open.
