In the receptacle or the bearing according to the invention for the screen cylinder or the cylinder stencil, two axially parallel bearing rollers (2) are provided which, resting on the outside against the outer ring, form a support for the cylinder. Provided between the bearing rollers (2), located in the operating position inside the end ring (10) or the like, is a central support roller (3) which presses the end ring against the bearing rollers (2). In this case, the support roller preferably presses the outer toothing of the end ring into its toothed engagement with the driving gearwheel of the screen cylinder or the screen stencil. The bearing rollers are located at most 175 DEG apart seen on the circumference of the end ring. All the rollers lie axially parallel to the screen cylinder or to the cylinder stencil.
