Pump shaft 36 carries cams 38 which operate pump units 30 upon rotation of the shaft. Output from the pump units into passage 92 is distributed by valve spool 98 in accordance with its angular position about the axis of the shaft 36, the shaft being normally freely rotatable within the spool. The shaft carries a cross-pin 52 which upon axial displacement of the shaft 36 against the spring washer 40 engages a recess in the end face of the spool and allows the angular position of the spool to be changed.@Pegs 50 on the spool cooperate with limiting stops 54 on the housing to define the operating positions of the spool. |
