Because of constantly increasing cost inflation for work and materials the need for packaging which can easily be repaired and reused is also increased. Several different systems already exist but they all share the condition that the packaging's construction elements must be pre-worked and equipped with specially fitted mounts and devices for attachment to a unit. This invention radically differs from these systems in that the packaging material does not need any form of preworking other than cutting to the desired dimensions. With four identical corner mounts according to the invention as well as a piece of packaging strip-iron a stable packing box can be put together without any special tools or specialized skills. The same corner mounts can be used with different materials with varying thickness and the length and width of the packaging can be freely chosen. The packaging can be disassembled and put back together again an unlimited number of times without the durability being significantly changed. Unless the corner mounts are damaged directly they can be considered indestructible. Through equipping the strips with two extra hole areas the corner mount can also be used for building stationary shelf- and storage systems. This invention first applies itself to today's materials, the corner mounts made out of galvanized steel and the packaging material consisting of boards, planks, particle- and veneer faces. Other material combinations are of course imaginable in the future, such as corner mounts of carbon fibre and packaging material of foam rubber or plastic laminate. For the additional purpose of allowing free choice of packaging height, a corner strip with profile according to figure 6 is imaginable, which can be delivered in meter length.<IMAGE> |
