PURPOSE:To effect the EGR control of the diesel engine by a method wherein the variation of the internal pressure of an air suction pipe is compensated. CONSTITUTION:First computer 6 operates the output signals of a fuel amount sensor 9 and a suction pipe pressure sensor 51 to apply a pressure correction and outputs a fuel amount G (f, s) as a pseudo signal to the second computer 7. The map of a duty ratio D, giving the opening and closing time rate of a solenoid type three-way valve 41 for obtaining the most suitable EGR rate obtained by expriments or the like previously, is accommodated in the second computer 7. The duty ratio D may be obtained by the map accommodated therein from an engine revolving number N and the pseudo fuel amount G (f, s), both inputted into the computer 7. This duty ratio D is an element to regulate a constant vacuum with respect to an atmospheric pressure made by a vacuum pump 43 and a constant pressure difference valve 42, and gives the opening and closing time ratio of the path of the solenoid type three-way valve 41. |
