PURPOSE:To eliminate faults such as corrosion and a short circuit of a metallic pressure resistant layer by covering a pressure resistant pipe with a plastic insulating layer, and thus insulating both an armor anchor and the pressure resistant pipe body electrically. CONSTITUTION:Pressure-tight pipes 5, 11, and 13 are divided plurally and made openable and closable (13: movable pressure resistant pipe) to facilitate connections on a ship, and outer circumferences of pressure resistant pipes in a connection box are covered with sleeve-shaped plastic insulating layers 19 with good disassembling properties, thus insulating the metallic pressure resistant layer 5 in a cable from sea water. Further, an armor anchor 10 and the pressure resistant pipe body are both insulated electrically. This is composed of an insulating end surface plate 18, insulating layer coupling parts 20 and 22, insulating ring 24, plastic resin material 26, water-tight seal 31, and dummy insulating sleeve 32. |
