PURPOSE:To make it unnecessary to increase length of a tape and a linear velocity of a rotary head, and to make a device small-sized, by frequency-dividing an FM signal to 2<n> pieces of signals by a specified number of FF circuits, and executing the recording by 2<n> pieces of recording heads. CONSTITUTION:An FM signal is frequency-divided to 2<n> (n is a natural number) pieces of signals which are almost equal in frequency and also constant in phase relation, by[SIGMA2<k>]<n>k 1 pieces of FM circuits, so that those signals are recorded by 2<n> pieces of recording heads, respectively. For instance, in case of n=2, a video signal FM-modulated from an FM modulator 2 is supplied to a frequency dividing circuit 4 consisting of 2 pieces of JK-FF circuit 41, 42, through an operational amplifier 3, and is divided into two. Also, these signals are supplied to same frequency dividing circuits 5, 6, are divided into two, respectively, and each signal which has been frequency-divided into 4 pieces is recorded in a magnetic tape by heads 8A-8D through amplifiers 7A-7D. |
