PURPOSE:To obtain a polygon mirror driving system which is free of a stray noise from a synchronous motor and has short starting time by transmitting a gate signal to a switching circuit through a photocoupler and driving a polygon mirror. CONSTITUTION:When gate signals OUT1 and OUT2 from a logical circuit 1 rise to a high level alternately, photocouplers 2 and 3 are driven respectively, thereby controlling switching transistors (TR) 4 and 5 connected to a high-level and a low-level power source. Then, a pseudo sine wave is applied to the winding of a synchronous motor to drive a polygon mirror by the synchronous motor. This constitution wherein the photocouplers are interposed provides a polygon mirror driving system which is free of a stray noise from the synchronous motor and has short starting time. |
