PURPOSE:To obtain a rotating body for fixation which is hard to flaw and has proper hardness, by forming its surface of silicone resin, and allowing this rotating body to contribute to fixation. CONSTITUTION:A heat roll 1 incorporating a heater 2 has a coating layer 1a of tetrafluoroethylene resin on the surface of a hollow cylinder 1b made of aluminum. The heat roll 1 is provided on the side where it comes into contact with an unfixed toner image T formed by an image forming means. A pressure roll 6 facing the heat roll 1 is formed by providing a silicone rubber layer onto its metallic core 8 to enough thickness for prescribed elasticity, and a silicone resin layer 9 is formed on the silicone rubber layer 8, thereby feeding paper P between both rolls 1 and 6. |
