PURPOSE:To attach a large amount of an adhesive to a melton dumbbell while reducing the drying time by a method wherein melton dumbbells once packed are immersed into a heat sensitive gelling latex based adhesive, pulled up and heated to gelatinize and then dried. CONSTITUTION:About 80 sheets of melton dumbbell 1 and assembled in a set of pack 5 and grasped with end plates 3 and 3 and additionally, fasteners 4 and 4 to make a melton pack 5. Then, the pack 5 thus obtained is immersed in a heat sensitive gelling latex based adhesive 6 with a concentration of about 33- 65wt% and then, pulled up. Here, the viscosity of said adhesive shall be 3,000- 30,000CPS as measured by a BH type viscometer at the working temperature 10-30 deg.C. Then, the melton pack 5 is retained at 40-100 deg.C for 1- 10min. to gelatinize and then, dried at the room temperature. |
