The invention concerns a fiberoptic transmitter for measurement of position, force, acceleration, pressure, flow and similar quantities, consisting of at least one optical fibre 1, at whose one end surface 2 there is at least one body 3, which is entirely or partially movable relative to the fibre end surface 2. This relative motion is a measure of the quantity being measured, and the body 3 has reflective and/or photoluminescent properties. The invention is characterized in that the illumination pattern which is generated on the movable body 3 upon illumination via the optical fibre is given a form which is essentially congruent with at least one reflecting and/or luminescent pattern 5 present on the surface of the movable body. The light reflected from the body 3 and the fibre end surface 2 by reflection and photoluminescence is divided into at least two nonidentical wavelength regions. <IMAGE> |
