PURPOSE:To obtain a band excellent in the pliability and strength ideal for packaging or the like by a method wherein a melting material mainly composed of polypropylene resin is molded into a band by extrusion and the molding obtained stretched lengthwise to make a fine fibrous composition. CONSTITUTION:A melted material whose main component, a polypropylene resin, is blended with a resin such as high density polyethylene is extruded into a band from an extrusion molding machine 1. Then, the extrusion molding 2 is introduced into a cooling tank 3 to cool and introduced into a heat stretching tank 4, where it is stretched by heat with the adjustment of the rotation speed of a tension roll 6 with respect to a feed roll 5 while molecular orientation is uniformized to impart a required strength to it. Then, the band-shaped product 2' is introduced to a cooling tank 7. After passed through an embossing device 8, it is introduced to a clumpling device 10 to yield a length-wise fine fibrous composition as an intended product 2''. |
