PURPOSE:To suppress quantization noise, by adjusting the level of an A/D converter through the use of a suitable color temperature conversion filter and gain adjuster in response to the color temperature of an objective, in converting a primary signal into a digital signal after processing. CONSTITUTION:After an output of an image pickup element 4 is amplified at a preamplifier 5, it is processed at an electric video signal processing circuit 6 and converted into a digital signal at an A/D converter 7. This digital signal is applied to a video switching device 10 via an electric video signal processing circuit 8 and a color signal synthesizer 9. When the color temperature of the objective is changed, a corresponding color temperature conversion filter 2 is used, the gain adjusting device in the circuit 6 is adjusted and levels of each primary signal of the input of the A/D converter 7 can almost be kept the same. |
