PURPOSE:To easily match the black level of a video signal to a threshold level of a liquid crystal, by using a variable resistor for an emitter resistor of an emitter follower transistor for input buffer of a gamma compensation circuit. CONSTITUTION:An emitter follower freely changing an emitter resistor is provided at an input section of a gamma correcting circuit 21. That is, a variable resistor Rv is inserted in series with a resistor R16 to the emitter of a transistor Q14 constituting the emitter follower. The video signal compensated at the circuit 21 is led through a bipolar video signal generating circuit 22. |
