PURPOSE:To precisely adjust with high accuracy the position of the cutting tool remaining in the machining condition when cutting machining such as boring and facing, etc. is done by turning a cutting tool. CONSTITUTION:A cutting tool is adjusted and operated under the condition of continuous rotating movement. Accuracy of its adjusting control can be realized in such high accuracy that it is at least more than 1/100mm., and generally 1/ 1,000mm. or more. Besides, this mechanism is relatively compact and at relatively low cost, and can be adequately adopted under the limited condition. For example, high accuracy of cutting tool moving condition as the unit of 1/1,000mm. can be indicated by applying proper index and scale between an operating part 90 and the setting surface 1c of a housing 1. |
