PURPOSE:To put picture information and document information together by indicating the final arrangement position of a read image, and deciding on a character image position. CONSTITUTION:A document drawn up through a word processor 12 is stored in a memory 10, and a picture original is read by a read part 3 to store its picture data in a memory 4; and a picture range and its position data Xi and Yi correspond to (X1, Y1) and (X2, Y2) of the memory, and white and black data of a picture part are stored in the form of ''0'' and ''1''. Character codes from a keyboard 13 are made into a document by the processor 12 and stored in (X3, Y3) and (X4, Y4) of the memory 10. An editing processing part 9 performs coordinate conversion of the picture position and picture range and then decides on coordinates of insertion range of document data; and the picture information and document data are exploded at prescribed positions of a memory 11 and to the range, and those data are recorded as a recorded body through a recording part 7. |
