<p>PURPOSE:To prevent damage and destruction of parts and safety of the titled device by separating the abutment from the outer peripheral groove when a detector that detects relative position of a rotary wheel and a fixed shoe detects previously fixed abnormal value. CONSTITUTION:When a driving shaft 11 is started and a material 19 is inserted into a passage 16 from an inlet port, the material 19 is sent into the passage 16 by frictional force of contact between both sides oif an outer peripheral groove, and when the material pressure is raised to required pressure, the material is extruded from an extruding die 18 as a product 20. The temperature of the rotary wheel 12 is nearly normal immediately after starting of operation, but it becomes very high with the lapse of time due to frictional heat. The wheel 12 and shaft 11 cause thermal expansion by the heat and the wheel 12 is thermally displaced in axial direction. The displacement is detected by a micrometer 29, and when the displacement becomes previously fixed abnormal value, a cylinder 25 is driven. Then, the whole of a fixed shoe 4 is raised upward and an abutment is taken off completely from the outer peripheral groove 13.</p> |
