摘要 PURPOSE:To raise accuracy of the processed configuration of a work, by controlling the relative speed of the work to wire electrode so as to be constant on the contour line to form the desired configuration. CONSTITUTION:In a processing for the desired configuration, particularly at the corner parts, by wire cut electric discharge machining, the relative speed F0 or F1 of the wire electrode 4 to the work 1 is chosen larger or smaller than the speed F at the time of leading line, to control the speed under the command of an N/C tape etc. so as to obtain the speed F at the corner parts (either inside or outside) substantially. That is to say, the speed is increased to F0 at the outside of curvatures (Out corner R) and increased to F1 at the inside (In corner R). These speed values F0, F1 are determined from the following equations; F0= F/(1-S/2Rc), F1=F/(1+S/2Rc), where Rc and S represent the radius at a wire locus and the processing groove width at a straight line part at the speed F.
