<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of undesired information when a hand is put on a detection panel and to ensure the stable working of a detector for contact position, by supporting the detection panel in a housing and at the same time supporting a mobile panel movably in the housing on the contact side of the detection panel and with a presribed distance secured to the detection panel. CONSTITUTION:A housing 11, detection panel 12 and mobile panel 21 are provided to a detector 10 for contact position. The panel 12 is attached so as to cover an opening 15 on the surface of the housing 11. At the same time, a groove 27 is formed adjacently and in parallel to the upper and lower slopes 16a and 16b of the opening 15. A mobile panel 21 made of synthetic resin is attached to the groove 27 in movable way and with a prescribed distance secured from the contact side of the panel 12. The position where a contact is given with a writing tool 31, a finger, etc. is detected on the surface of the panel 12, and the signals is produced in response to the detected position on the panel 12. In this case, a hand is put on the mobile panel 21 to avoid a contact of an arm, etc. excepting a contact of the tool 31. In such a way, the generation of undesired information is prevented.</p> |
