PURPOSE:To eliminate adverse effect to the supporting member of a measuring element by installing a guide rail on the side of the base and at the same time providing shock absorbers on the ends of the guide rails. CONSTITUTION:Guide rails 31 and 32 which constitute guide sections in the Y-axis direction are mounted detachably on the supporting shafts on both sides of a base 21. On both ends of one guide rail 31 of the guide rails 31 and 32 on the above mentioned both sides are provided shock absorbers on its both ends. When a left end of a column 41 comes in contact with the end of a cylindrical body 91, a compression spring 93 is deflected to reduce shock that is received by a measuring element supporting section 40. If, with this arrangement, the supporting section 40 is moved to the limit of its movement, deformation to the measuring element supporting section can be avoided. |
