PURPOSE:To provide a water-based lubricating oil composition having excellent stability to mechanical shear stress, and high thickening effect, and usable as a water-containing hydraulic oil, metal machining oil, etc., by using a mixture of specific polyether compounds as a component. CONSTITUTION:The objective water-based lubricating oil composition contains usually 0.1-20wt% polyether compound of formulaI[R and R' are 5-26C hydrocarbon group; X and Y are O or N ; n is 1-20; p is 3 or 4; q+r+s is 2-200 ; r/(q+s) is 3/7-9/1 ; etc.] and usually 0.1-20wt% polyether compound of formula II. |
