摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To improve the performance of gas-liquid contact and to economize the energy driving power by shearing the foam which is discharged from an air diffusing pipe and ascends in liqid by the rotation of a perforated rotary plate utilizing the falling energy of the treating liquid. CONSTITUTION:When liquid to be treated is continuously charged into a vessel 1 further from the state in which the level of the liquid discharged through an introducing pipe 4 in the vessel is maintained constant by the rising height of a discharging pipe 6a communicating with the vessel, the liquid flows down through the pipe 6 into a pipe 6b by as much as the liquid charged into the vessel. The down flowing liquid gathers in a water collecting funnel 7 from which the liquid ejects through a water releasing port 8 and collides against water wheel vanes 10, thus rotating the revolving shaft 9 thereof. As a result, a perforated rotary plate 12 fixed to the shaft 9 rotates. The foam produced from an air diffusing pipe 3 ascends in the liquid and is agitated by the rotation of said plate 12. Then foam is made into small piece of the foam by the many projections and small holes 13 of the rotary plate, and is thereby diffused.</p>
