PURPOSE:To improve the operability of a graphic editing device, by providing a mechanism storing a continuous paper sheet, reading a character pattern written on the continuous paper by an operator by taking up the paper and saving the time to control the edited pattern. CONSTITUTION:A graphic editing device is provided with a take-up roll 23 which takes up a continuous paper sheet 22, a writing window 1, a photoelectric transducer 24 and a writing end switch 25. An edited pattern input part 5 connected to a control part 2 of the editing device detects the push of the switch 5 and feeds the writing end signal to the part 2. At the same time, the revolution of the roll 23 is started to move the paper 22, and the pattern corrected or added by an iperator is quantized by the transducer 24 to be fed to the part 2. Then the corrected or added graphic data given from the part 5 is received at the part 2 by referring to the region signal sent from a keybaord part 4 and the writing end signal sent from the part 5. The received graphic data is stored at a prescribed position of a memory part 6, and all data are displayed at a display part 3. Thus, the operability is improved for the graphic editing device. |
