PURPOSE:To prevent explosion caused by a spark from a motor by installing a cup-shaped cap having an air path passing to the outside of a housing in the end portion of a cathode side of a storage battery and diffusing the gas released from a safety valve of the battery. CONSTITUTION:A nickel cadmium battery 6 installing in vicinity to a cathode 6a a safety valve 67 which opens when the gas pressure inside the battery is abnormally increased, and a motor are accommodated in a housing 1 to form a waterproof electric razor. A cup-shaped cap 70 is set in the end part of a cathode side of the battery 6, and a cavity A is faced to a gas releasing hole 66 of a safety valve 67, and passed to the outside of the housing by an air passing pipe 82 which is passing through the inside of a charging pin 81a used to charge the battery 6. Therefore, because the released gas can directly diffuse to the outside of the housing 1, explosion of the gas accumulated in the housing caused by spark from the motor can be prevented. |
