PURPOSE:To simplify a constitution by connecting two high voltage sodium lamps in series for the power supply voltage of 200-265V incorporating a starting pulse generator to light the power supply voltage of 380-460V. CONSTITUTION:Existing high voltage sodium lamps 3, 4 for the power supply voltage of 200-265V incorporating a starting pulse generator including a thermal reacting swtich 33 are connected in series, and are connected to the power supply 1 of 380-460V through a ballast 2 for the power supply voltage of 380- 460V for lighting. Accordingly, by selecting the power supply voltage in a range of 380-460V, sufficient light characteristics can be available, lamps and circuits are prevented from being broken, excellent lighting characteristics can be obtained, and existing high voltage sodium lapms can be utilized for lighting without producing special high voltage sodium lamps for the B power supply. |
