PURPOSE:To manufacture chip inductors free of incomplete wire penetration in a way fit for mass production by a method wherein a desired number of green sheets of magnetic material is sandwiched between pluralities of conductive wires arranged parallelly without contact between themselves for the building of a magnetic material block with conductive wires buried therein and the block thus produced is then baked and sectioned into individual smaller blocks. CONSTITUTION:A desired number of green sheets 31 is stacked one upon the other at the middle, sandwiched by AgPd wires 32 arranged parallelly, and packed tight without contact between them. Next, the product is further sandwiched between green sheets 33. Pressure is applied from both sides so that the green sheets may adhere to each other for the obtaining of a magnetic material block 35 wherein the AgPd wires 32 are buried orderly in the magnetic material 34. After baking, the block 35 is sectioned into smaller blocks 36 wherethrough several AgPd wires 32 run. After this, the AgPd wires 32 and electroconductive paste 37 are formed into a single electroconductive wire forming a coil. Further, terminals 38, 39 are built reaching the edges of a smaller block 36. Baking follows and external electrodes 41 are built, for the completion of a chip inductor. |
