PURPOSE:To continuously and surely supply a powdery or granular material through a simple construction, by providing a screw feeder whose conveyance capacity is not higher than the discharge capacity of a rotary feeder installed under a service tank and by connecting the outlet port of the screw feeder to a high pressure line. CONSTITUTION:A rotary feeder 10 is provided under a service tank 3. The inlet port 14 of a screw feeder 11 is connected to the rotary feeder 10. A mixing pipe 12 is coupled to the outlet port 15 of the screw feeder 11. An air supply pipe 9 and a conveyance pipe 6 are connected upstream and downstream to the mixing pipe 12. A granular or powdery material is put in the tank 3 and the feeder 11 is driven. A predetermined quantity of the material is supplied into the feeder 11 by the other feeder 10 so that the feeder 11 is filled with the material and a material sealing effect is produced. Pressure air is supplied from the pipe 9 to the other pipe 6 so that the granular or powdery material in the pipe 12 is conducted into the pipe 6 by the air. The material is thus surely fed to a high pressure line. |
