PURPOSE:To improve the damping effect on vibration in the high frequency range by detecting the proximity on the separation between a car body and a power unit and by controlling the pressure fluctuation in a fluid filled pressure receiving chamber inside a resilient member which is interposed between the car body and the power unit forward a low or a high pressure phase. CONSTITUTION:Extension and contraction of a resilient member 26 by vibration of a power unit 22 fluctuates the pressure of the fluid inside a pressure receiving chamber 29. The vibration causes a displacement detector 33 to send a displacement signal to a controller 43. The controller 43 drives an oscillator 41 to trigger an actuator 42, which generate a pressure fluctuation having a phase which cancels that of another pressure fluctuation generated inside the pressure receiving chamber 29. Accordingly, the pressure fluctuation of the actuator 42 is transmitted into the pressure receiving chamber 29 via a conduit 36 and canceled since the phases of both the fluctuated pressures are opposite. The damping effect on vibration in the high frequency range may be improved by means of this constitution.
