发明名称 DRIVING TORQUE DETECTING DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the durability and reliability of a driving torque detecting device and to perform high-accuracy torque detection by forming a gap part at the coupling part between a flange yoke and a companion flange and providing a strain gauge element to the gap part. CONSTITUTION:The flange yoke 2 is provided to the rearmost part of a propeller shaft 1 through a universal joint 3 and the companion flange 5 is provided to the frontmost part of a final gear 4. The flange 5 engages a pinion shaft 6 by a spline and is fixed with a nut 7. A yoke 2 and the flange 5 are fixed with plural bolts 9 by interposing a seal material 8 and part of the inner peripheral surface of the flange 5 is flattened to form four strain gauge elements 10 at equal intervals. The elements 10 are formed by forming films of allow strain gauge materials by vacuum deposition, etc., and their shape is preferably a heliborne shape. The elements 10 vary in resistance value with torque and electric signals corresponding to the torque are generated through the conversion of a bridge circuit and led out through rings 11a-11d and brushes 13a-13d.
