PURPOSE:To suppress increment of the rubbing area due to the wear to increase the lifetime and at the same time to facilitate an easy production of an electrostatic signal reproducing stylus, by using a columnar or pyramidical projection part provided at the tip of a pyramid basement as the rubbing surface of a disk. CONSTITUTION:A pentagonal pyramid part 13 or a columnar part protrudes at the tip part of a trigonal pyramid stylus basement 11 from a face part 14 which is not positioned on the extension of the faces of the basement 11 excluding a part of an electrode part 12. The tip face 15 of the part 13 or the columnar part is used to the rubbing surface of a disk. A part of the part 12 is included in a pyramidical part 13 with a certain width (a). In such constitution, the increment of area is suppressed for the surface 15 to the disk although the wear increases due to the reproduction. At the same time, the width (a) of the tip of the part 12 has virtually no change. Thus the lifetime of the stylus is increased. Furthermore the working quantity can be decreased at the pyramid part requiring the polishing with high precision. Thus the production is facilitated for a reproducing stylus. |
