<p>A personalised lamp shade is made from specially prepared materials. A blank (10) is cut from a sheet of Bristol board or plastics film which has a self-adhesiVe surface initially covered with a protective layer. This layer is removed and a sheet of decorative tissue is bonded to the Bristol board. The edges of the composite sheet are bound with double sided adhesive tape (25) (30). The sheet is then formed to the required shape. The opposite edges are supported by wire rings and the abutting edges secured with adhesive tape. The wire rings are retained by clips.</p> |
