<p>The harvesting machine is for threshing vines, having sets of flail pairs of movable vertically to extract the fruit for passage to a transporter-elevator. This has two parallel trains of movable plates situated at the base of the vines. These retain the vines between them for passage of the harvester. The harvester is suspended from an agricultural tractor, for lateral coupling, having sidewaings engaging the ground and a stabilising wheel whose height is variable. The lateral coupling is via two pivots at the front and rear of the tractor to allow flexible coupling in the vertical plane of a carrier for the harvester.</p> |
