PURPOSE:To enhance the halting accuracy of a vehicle at the prescribed position by controlling a current fed to a propulsion coil based on the position detection signal at every pole pitch, the position of the travelling vehicle and the speed signal. CONSTITUTION:A synchronous sinusoidal wave S synchronized with a position signal 6 is generated at the ordinarily floating travelling time of a vehicle, and a travelling pattern 12 corresponding to the signal 6 is obtained. When the vehicle is decelerated so that the vehicle travels with its wheels supported, a pulse is outputted from a tachometer generator 16. Accordingly, the speed after an absolute position detector 11 is obtained by a speed arithmetic unit 8 from the pulse of the generator 16, and the position is obtained from the signal 6 and the pulse from the generator 16. A synchronous sinusoidal wave S and a travelling pattern 12 are generated according to the obtained speed and position. A propulsion current arithmetic unit 12 outputs a propulsion current (i) by the speed deviation DELTAV and a load detector 17, multiplies the current (i) by the wave S and outputs a current pattern 14. |
