The insert junctions are placed one at the centre of each horizontal face (1,2) and one near a corner of each lateral face (3,4) of the vessel, the lateral face ones being high on one side and low on the other. The male or female metal insert joints (7,8,9,10) are bedded in bosses of the plastics vessel material during moulding of the corresponding vessel part. The vessel can take four positions suiting different pipework layouts by rotating through 180 deg. about one of the three principal axis.
