PURPOSE:To reduce the cost, by producing a program which generates the end information from the signal on a 30cm disk, the signal on a 17cm disk and the size signal and then discriminating assuredly the end position without inserting an end slit to the area near the end position. CONSTITUTION:A slit is eliminated at the area near the end position, and a photocoupler corresponding to the eliminated slit is excluded. Then the storing function of a microcomputer 18 is positively. The photocouplers 2-1 and 2-2 are provided in correspondence to the slits 1-1 and 1-2 on the 30cm and 17cm disks respectively which are set on a base 15 that supports a tone arm 19. The signals given from the couplers 2-1 and 2-2 are fed to the computer 18 along with the signal of a disk sensor 4, the signal of a size sensor and the signal of a rest switch 17 respectively. The computer 18 produces a program that can decide the position which is identical with the position of the arm 19 that is decided immediately before the arm 19 reaches its present position among the positions on the disk, at the rest, at the end, at the rest and on the disk respectively. |
