In summary, it may be said that the variable vaulting-horse set is a universal sporting appliance which offers many possibilities for exercise (no constraints are placed on the imagination), can in some cases take on the function of other sporting appliances (horizontal bars), and can also be used methodically very practically by changing the angle of inclination of the oblique surfaces. This applies particularly to gymnastics for kindergarten and primary school children, and for the handicapped; but there are also many possibilities for exercise for older children, adolescents and adults. Furthermore, it is much quicker and less laborious to attach the lightweight additional appliances (ladders or connecting rods or cross-bars) than, for example, to transport benches and set up horizontal or parallel bars. Lightweight construction, versatile range of exercises and opportunities for methodically practical use are features of the variable vaulting-horse set.
