PURPOSE:To provide a proper amonut of exhaust gas returning at the time of normal driving for those to open an EGR valve when the acceleration of an engine is detected by an acceleration detector by furnishing a control device to stop the opening operation of a return control valve based on the operation of the acceleration detector at the normal time. CONSTITUTION:When a throttle valve 5 is suddenly opend for acceleration, a diaphragm 18a of an acceleration detector 18 is moved upward against a spring 18f, and raises a rod 18g. Meanwhile, a rod 19b is also raised via a diaphragm 19a, and a diaphragm 10a of a switch valve 10 is pushed upward by a spring 10h. Then a valve body 10 opens a negative pressure passage 9, while an auxiliary air-bleed passage 17 is closed. This construction permits to enrich the air-fuel ratio and increase the opening degree of a returen control valve 3. When this stage of acceleration is shifted to that of normal driving, the diaphragm 19a of the control device 19 is moved downward by a spring 19e, and the opening valve 10 closes the negative pressure passage 9 to open the above- said passage 17 and also close the return control valve 3. |
