<p>PURPOSE:To high acurately perform barometric correction of air fuel ratio even in case of controlling exhaust gas recirculation (EGR), by calculating a barometric correction coefficient on the basis of the atmospheric pressure and intake negative pressure, using the correction coefficient and correcting an injection valve opening time. CONSTITUTION:An exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) controller, in which exhaust gas in an exhaust pipe 13 is partly recirculated to the downstream side of throttle body 3 in an intake passage 2 by an EGR passage 18 interposed with an EGR valve 19, is equipped in an engine, and a fuel injection device 6 is provided in the intake passage 2. In the above engine, the device 6 controls a valve opening time of fuel injection by a signal from an ECU5. Then this ECU5 is constituted by equipping a correcting means which corrects a reference fuel injection time signal obtained correspondingly to outputs of an engine speed sensor 11 and intake pipe absolute pressure sensor 8 in accordance with a barometric correction coefficient calculated by outputs of the above sensor 8 and atmospheric pressure sensor 16. In this way, fuel consumption and exhaust gas characteristic can be improved.</p> |
