PURPOSE:A smooth cosmetic having an emolient feeling, soft to the touch, having extremely high stability, comprising both or either of a hibiscus seed oil obtained from the seed of hibiscus or a hydrogenated material thereof. CONSTITUTION:A cosmetic comprising both or either of a novel hibiscus seed oil obtained by directly pressing or extracting the seed of a hibiscus, a plant living in East Africa, Southeast Asia, Hawaii, China, Japan, etc. or followed by purification such as deodorization, decoloring, etc., or a hydrogenated material thereof obtained by hydrogenating partially or totally the double bonds of the oil. The seed oil is excellent as an oily component of cosmetic and provides cosmetic having novel improved performance. |
